Incoming College Freshman

Congratulations High School Seniors,

If accepted to a college/university, you are now considered an incoming college freshman! Below is a short list of to-do items for incoming college freshmen:

  • Review your housing deadlines, make housing deposit, select a roommate and pick a meal plan
  • Review your school’s pre-orientation/orientation dates and register asap
  • Select and register for fall classes
  • Obtain a Parking Permit, if applicable for your Freshman Year
  • Make sure your Financial Aid is in order. Accept all scholarships, and if necessary, accept any student loans offered to you according to your award letter
  • Submit your Official High School (Final) Transcript and any Dual Credit from a Community College, or qualifying AP Scores
  • Update and submit all immunization/shot records to the school you will attend in the fall
  • Set up a college email address for the school you will attend in the fall
  • Complete the Placement Exams, if required
